Maria Miró is a lyric soprano with a beautiful and powerful voice. She is having an ascending career, singing frequently in the two biggest Opera Houses in Spain: Gran Teatre del liceu of Barcelona and Teatro Real of Madrid. She has also sang in Spanish theatres such as Opera Oviedo, Palau de les Arts of Valencia, Teatro de la Maestranza in Sevilla and Teatro de la Zarzuela of Madrid; and in European theatres such as Opera Grand Avignon, Teatro Massimo of Palermo and Wexford Opera Festival.
“The solo singers were also very adequate, both vocally and dramatically, with Maria Miró‘s stellar performance as Laurencia standing out. A soprano of great dramatic vein, with power and vocal mastery, she managed to exemplarily reflect the vicissitudes of the character.” (Fuenteovejuna- Opera Tenerife)
