The Barcelona-born soprano Maria Miró made a triumphant return to the Liceu thanks to her portrayal of a full-bodied, agile Nanetta, capable of effortlessly sustaining the tenuto notes in her love duets with her beloved Fenton, or as the Queen of the Fairies in “Ninfe! Elfi! Silfi!” and the subsequent “Sul fil d’un soffio etesio”, showcasing the luminous upper-mid-range of a young woman in love that flowed with natural ease.
